About Shane Principio

Shane is a Maryland native! Born and raised in the area, Shane attended Mount Saint Joseph High School and then went onto the University of Baltimore. After completing his MBA in 2005 Shane began working as a Project Manager for a large mid-atlantic healthcare insurer, ultimately advancing to the position of Director of Healthcare Quality Improvement Division. During that same timeframe Shane invested in rental properties and occasionally renovating them for resale. This hands-on experience in real estate fueled Shane’s passion for the industry. This led Shane to obtain his real estate license in 2019 and pursue real estate full-time.

Shane’s dedication to meticulous attention to client needs, coupled with an unparalleled work ethic and unwavering integrity, sets him apart in the real estate industry. His obsession with detail ensures that every aspect of a client's transaction is meticulously handled, creating a seamless and stress-free experience. Professional Designations

  • Graduate, REALTOR® Institute (GRI- The GRI is recognized nationwide as the one of the highest standards for real estate professionalism and knowledge covering a variety of subjects including: contract law, professional standards, sales and marketing, finance, and risk reduction.
  • Real Estate Negotiation Expert (RENE)- Negotiation skills are critical in ensuring the best financial and situational outcomes are achieved. RENE agents are the top trained in this skill and thoroughly prepared to ensure your best interests are achieved and always effectively represented. Shane has completed extensive training in  proven negotiation methods and techniques. 
  • Military Relocation Professional (MRP)- Shane is proud to support the Military with his Community Heroes Program which offers specialized fees for these clients. Shane has also completed specialized training that focuses on assisting military professionals and their families in navigating the complicated process of purchasing or selling their homes while also juggling the demands of military service. 
  • Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR)- This accreditation is reserved for agents who have direct experience working with buyers, who provide a superior client experience, and who are constantly striving to offer their clients more by way of training, professional development, and insight into the latest strategies for meeting and exceeding their clients’ expectations.  ABR representatives must successfully complete comprehensive courses  focusing on buyer representation, negotiation strategies, and professional standards, in addition to submitting documentation verifying professional experience.
